Oxon Shamrock News up Date
We are proud to announce the formation of Oxon Shamrock FC!

The AGM will be held in the Six Bells on the 14th of August at 11.30 am. The Agenda so far, is on the notice board at the Bells. The Inverness Caley Thistle game will be shown directly afterwards.
The forthcoming Champions League qualifiers are upon us and they will probably be shown by Sky, watch Notice board for any up dates. The rest of the SPL fixtures involving the Hoops will be advertised here and again on the Notice Board in the Bells.

Garth Day Time Support / Six Bells Charity day

Once again the Garth Day Time Support / Six Bells Charity day was a huge
success, we raised when all expenditure, of which there was little in excess
of £1,600.00 which is excellent. An event such as this doesn't happen without
the support of so many people far too many to mention, but I will name a few. To
John and all his staff at the Bells, to John Nelson for use of his amps, to
Banbury GC for the excellent facilities, to all who donated prizes, and most of
to the customers of the Bells, Ashton, Football Club a HUGE thanks for for your
support, every year it's fantastic.

in a multi coloured coffin, and carried out to 747 by Saxon. He was burried with his beloved Arsenal scarf. A lot of 'old' faces turned up, and the beer and memories flowed all day.It truely was a day to remember. The only person missing was Shirty!

A female CNN journalist heard about a very old Jewish man who had been going to the Wailing Wall to pray, twice a day, every day, for a long, long time..
So she went to check it out, and there he was walking slowly up to the holy site.

This abomnable beer thief is believed to be operating in the Six Bells area. Reports of pints of Fosters disappearing from the counter, pool table and fire place are becomming more and more frequent. A local police source has admitted that they are investigating reported sightings of notorious beer thief, The BeerMonkey. He also said that investigations had been delayed after a Cement Truck collided with a van transferring prisoners from Bullingdon Prison, adding they were now also on the look out for Hardened Criminals!
